Message/Call Scams

 

If you receive a call or message (SMS, WhatsApp, social media, etc.) that requires you to part with personal information, click on a link or install an unknown application to your device, STOP immediately.

The best way to avoid becoming a victim of scam is by following these steps:

  • Never respond to calls/message/instructions from unknown parties
  • Do not provide your personal details & financial information to unknown parties claiming to represent MCIS Life
  • Our authorised agents and Customer Contact Centre representatives would never call/text you to request for your credit/debit card information

If you are in doubt upon receiving a call or message claiming to represent us, do:

  1. Contact us at 03-7652 3388 to verify the details
  2. E-mail us at customerservice@mcis.my 
  3. Call your servicing agent to verify the information directly

Remember that your safety is in your hands, so stay safe by choosing not to respond to scam messages.
